Prof. Dwiwahju Sasongko, Ph.D.

Dwiwahju Sasongko is a Professor of Chemical Engineering and Head of the Energy and Processing Systems Research Group of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Before joining ITB, he worked at International Business Machine (IBM). He obtained his bachelor's degree (1976) and master's degree in chemical engineering from ITB, and his doctorate (PhD) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.

He is focused on the energy sector, especially in coal and biomass processing, becoming a principal researcher/member with funding support from the government/ITB budget and national/international sponsors and becoming an Anthony Mason Fellow at UNSW (1996-1997). He has written more than 140 scientific articles in international/national journals/proceedings and delivered keynote speech pada beberapa seminar internasional/nasional. Ybs pernah/sedang menjadi anggota Dewan Editor beberapa jurnal ilmiah nasional terakreditasi. Ybs pernah menjadi dosen tamu di University of Borås, Swedia.

He is a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), a mentor of the AIChE ITB Student Chapter and was once a member of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII). He was the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department (1998-2001), Vice Dean I (2002-2004) and Dean of FTI (2004-2010) ITB. He is the Head of the Accreditation Council, National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), Ministry of Education and Culture (2016-2021) and a member since 2006.

Prof. Dr. Herri Susanto

Herri Susanto merupakan lulusan Program Doktor Teknik Kimia ITB tahun 1984. Dia menjadi Guru Besar di Program Studi Teknik Kimia ITB sejak 2006. Dia menekuni bidang keahlian Teknik Kimia yang berfokus pada pembakaran biomassa. Dia juga aktif dalam pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat dengan menghasilkan lebih dari 5 lulusan doktor, lebih dari 50 makalah terpublikasi di jurnal nasional maupun internasional, melakukan riset kerjasama dengan berbagai perguruan tinggi dalam dan luar negeri, serta memprakarsai beberapa pilot plant gasifikasi di Indonesia. Saat ini ia juga aktif di Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII) serta menjadi editor di beberapa jurnal ilmiah

 

Dr. Sanggono Adisasmito

Sanggono Adisasmito received his Doctorate from Colorado School of Mines, Illinois, USA in 1992. His research focuses on chemical engineering, especially oil & gas processing technology, process thermodynamics, fluidized bed bioreactors, and natural gas hydrate thermodynamics. He has published numerous publications in various national and international peer-reviewed journals that have been cited 766 times and presented scientific papers worldwide. Due to his active relationships with various societies and academies and his contributions, he has been recognized by subject experts worldwide. Currently, he is an assessor at the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

 

Dr. Isdiriayani Nurdin

Isdiriayani Nurdin merupakan lulusan Doktor dari INPGrenoble, Perancis tahun 1988. Dia menekuni penelitian di bidang korosi dan teknologi proses elektrokimia. Konsisten berkecimpung di bidang keilmuan korosi dan elektrokimia membawa Isdiriayani Nurdin menjadi salah satu pelopor berdirinya asosiasi korosi Indonesia (Indonesian Corrosion Association, INDOCOR) dan editor Jurnal Korosi.  Selain penelitian di bidang korosi, saat ini ia aktif dalam mengembangkan penelitian terkait dengan fuel cell dan superkapasitor.

 

Hary Devianto, Ph.D.

After receiving his Ph.D. in 2010 from Seoul National University, South Korea, Hary Devianto continued his post-doctoral studies at ENEA (Italian National agency for new technologies, energy, and sustainable economic development) from 2010 to 2012. Returning to Indonesia in 2012, he became a lecturer at the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Currently, Hary Devianto serves as Deputy of Indonesia Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy (INAFHE). As of 2019, he has published articles in 22 journals and 15 scientific conferences as the first author or corresponding author, and has obtained 4 patents in South Korea and Indonesia. His current areas of interest are fuel cells (MCFC and SOFC), carbon nano for supercapacitors, and Zn-air batteries and electrolysis.

 

Dr.  Pramujo Widiatmoko

Joining the ITB Chemical Engineering community in 2010, Pramujo Widiatmoko continued his doctoral studies at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan in 2011-2014. His current research areas are electrochemical engineering and the use of solar energy for chemical synthesis and other electrochemical processes. Current research projects include the development and scale-up of dye sensitized solar cells, electrochemical reduction of CO2 and hydrogen production assisted by solar energy, and supercapacitors. Pramujo Widiatmoko is also heavily involved in process safety studies in the chemical industry.

 

Dicka Ar Rahim, M.T.

Dicka Ar Rahim joined the ITB Chemical Engineering community since 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral program at Zhejiang University of Technology, China. As an academic staff, he is involved in teaching, research, and community service. He has a scientific background in energy and process engineering. His research field is thermochemical conversion of solid fuels, especially syngas cleaning and conditioning.

 

Pri Januar Gusnawan, M.T.

Pri J. Gusnawan saat ini sedang tugas belajar di Materials Engineering, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, USA. Disana, ia juga bekerja sebagai asisten peneliti di Petroleum Research Recovery Center dalam pengembangan kontaktor membran menggunakan biosolvent untuk menangkap CO2 dari gas buang. Sampai 2020, Pri J. Gusnawan telah mempublikasikan 6 artikel ilmiah di jurnal internasional terkemuka seperti Chemical Engineering Journal, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, dan Journal of Membrane Science. Minat penelitian beliau meliputi pre-combustion & post-combustion carbon capture seperti CO2 selective solvent/sorbent/ membrane dan carbon conversion via gasification.

 

Wibawa Hendra Saputera, Ph.D.

Wibawa Hendra Saputera memperoleh gelar Ph.D. pada 2018 dari program Doktor di Particles and Catalysis Research Group, Departemen Teknik Kimia, Universitas New South Wales, Australia di bawah bimbingan Prof. Rose Amal. Bidang penelitian yang diminati adalah pengembangan teknologi berkelanjutan dan material nano fungsional. Saat ini, penelitian yang dilakukan berfokus pada pengembangan nano material baru, katalisis heterogen, elektrokatalisis, dan fotokatalisis untuk remediasi lingkungan, serta pengurangan emisi karbondioksida . Ia telah menerima berbagai anugerah hibah di tingkat ITB,  nasional, maupun internasional.  Selama 5 tahun terakhir, Wibawa Hendra Saputera telah mempublikasikan 15 artikel di jurnal internasional Q1 dan 1 bab buku yang secara kumulatif menerima 200 kutipan dan menghasilkan nilai H-indeks 9 (per Januari 2020, Google Scholar)
