Prof. Dwiwahju Sasongko, Ph.D.
Dwiwahju Sasongko is a professor of chemical engineering and Chair of Research Group on Energy and Chemical Engineering Processing System, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Before joining ITB, he worked for International Business Machines (IBM). He obtained his bachelor degree (1976) and master degree in chemical engineering from ITB and doctorate (PhD) from University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
His research interest is in energy field especially related with coal and biomass processing. He has been principal/co-researcher with various national/international fundings and was an Anthony Mason Fellow at UNSW (1996-1997). He has written more than 140 scientific papers published in international/national journals/proceedings and gave keynote speech at international/national seminars. He has been a member of Editorial Board of some national accredited journals. He was a visiting professor at University of Borås, Sweden.
He is a senior member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and Advisor to AIChE ITB Student Chapter and was in the board of Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII). He was Chairman of Chemical Engineering Department (1998-2001), Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (2002-2004), and Dean of FTI (2004-2010) at ITB. He is Chair of Accreditation Council, Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT), Ministry of Education and Culture (2016-2021) and has been a member since 2006.
Prof. Dr. Herri Susanto
Herri Susanto received Doctoral degree from Chemical Engineering Department, ITB in 1984. He is a professor at chemical engineering department, ITB since 2006. His current researches focus on combustion of biomass. He has published more than 50 scientific articles in international and national journals/proceedings and initiate some research collaboration with national and international partner university. He is actively involved in education, research and community service. He has become a pionerr in establishing several gasification pilot plants in Indonesia. Nowadays, he is a member of Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) and an editor of several scientific journals.
Dr. Sanggono Adisasmito
Sanggono Adisasmito received Doctoral degree from Colorado School of Mines, Illinois, USA in 1992. His researches focus on chemical engineering, especially oil & gas processing technology, process thermodynamics, fluidized bed bioreactor, and hydrate of natural gas thermodynamic. He has published numerous publications in various national and international peer-reviewed journals which has been cited 766 times and presented scientific papers across the world. Because of the active association with different societies and academies as well as the contributions, he has been recognized by the subject experts around the world. Nowadays, He is an assessor in the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
Dr. Retno Gumilang Dewi
Retno Gumilang Dewi received Doctoral degree from Chemical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung on 2004, after finished Master degree at University of New South Wales, Australia. Currently, she is head of Energy Policy Center, ITB. Her research topic mainly on green house effects, energy conservation, and low carbon technology development.
Hary Devianto, Ph.D.
After receiving Ph.D degree in 2010 from Seoul National University, South Korea, Hary Devianto worked as post-doctoral student at ENEA (Italian National agency for new technologies, energy, and sustainable economic development) from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, He came back to Indonesia and become a lecturer in Chemical Engineering Department, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He is also a Deputy of Indonesia Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy (INAFHE). In 2019, He has published 22 journals, 15 conference papers as the first author or corresponding author and granted 4 patents in South Korea and Indonesia. His current researches are fuel cells (MCFC and SOFC), nano carbon for supercapacitor, Zn-air batteries and electrolysis.
Dr. Pramujo Widiatmoko
Pramujo Widiatmoko received Doctoral degree from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan on 2014. He became a lecturer at Chemical Engineering Department, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2010. His current research areas are in the fields of electrochemical engineering and solar energy utilization for chemical synthesis and other electrochemical processes. Moreover, he also developed and scale-up dye sensitized solar cell, CO2 electrochemical reduction, hydrogen production using solar energy and supercapacitor. He is also actively involved in industrial process safety studies.
Pri Januar Gusnawan, M.T.
Pri J. Gusnawan is currently a PhD student at Materials Engineering, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, USA. There, he also worked as a research assistant at the Petroleum Research Recovery Center, in developing membrane contactors using biosolvent to capture CO2 from exhaust gases. Until 2020, he has published 6 scientific articles in prestigious international journals such as the Chemical Engineering Journal, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and the Journal of Membrane Science. His research interests include pre-combustion & post-combustion carbon capture such as CO2 selective solvent / sorbent / membrane and carbon conversion via gasification.
Dicka Ar Rahim, M.T.
Dicka Ar Rahim is a lecturer at Chemical Engineering Department, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia since 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral program at Zhejiang University of Technology, China. As an academic staff, he was involved in teaching, research, and community services. He has scientific background in energy and process engineering. His research area is the thermochemical conversion of solid fuels, especially in the cleaning and conditioning of syngas.
Wibawa Hendra Saputera, Ph.D.
Wibawa Hendra Saputera received his Ph.D degree in 2018 at the Particles and Catalysis Research Group, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of New South Wales, Australia under the suervision of Prof. Rose Amal. His area of research of interest are the development of sustainable technology and functional nano materials. Currently, his research focuses on developing novel nano materials, heterogeneous catalysis, electrocatalysis, and photocatalysis for environmental remediation and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. He has experience in receiving various grant awards at the university, national and international levels. Over the past 5 years, Wibawa Hendra Saputera has published 15 articles in Q1 international journals and 1 book chapter which cumulatively received 229 citations and produced an H-index value of 9 as of April 2020, (Google Scholar)
